Manor scored seven as they demolished their local neighbours Basildon 7-2 today.  Eddie Hart opened the scoring for Manor after 7 minutes with a header after a pinpoint cross from Jamie Salmon.  Basildon were level a minute later when Bertie Brayley followed up to score following Adam Seal's save.   It was 2-1 to Manor on 36 minutes when Terry Griffiths followed up his initial effort which came back off the bar to score from the rebound.   Four minutes into the second half it was 3-1 when Eddie Hart pounced on defensive hesitation to poke under keeper Brown.   Basildon got it back to 3-2 on 63 minutes when Adam Seal made a good save but Ferguson reacted the quickest to put the ball into the empty net.   Eddie Hart grabbed his hat trick on 73 minutes with a 20 yard effort in off the post to make it 4-2.  Basildon's Paul Shave was then sent off on 81 minutes for a second yellow and after this Manor added three more, Mark Sisson on 84 minutes and then Eddie Hart getting his fourth and fifth of the game on 85 and 90 minutes to make it an emphatic victory for the visitors played on a difficult surface.   It was also Manor's best away league win for 10 years!!!  This report even made it into the local paper 'The Echo' (see below)
