Manor travelled to Bowers last night hoping to extend their winning streak to three games. Bowers started the better though and had their first effort on goal after 10 minutes but it went wide. On 16 minutes they had an even better chance but Manor keeper Priddle saved well with his legs to keep the score at 0-0. Manor had their first effort on goal after 21 minutes but Waiwaiku's effort from 20 yards was easy for Doyle in the home goal. Bowers took a deserved lead on 23 minutes after Lorenzo Ramsey got into the box and slotted past Priddle, who got a hand to it, but not enough of a hand to keep it from being 1-0. Four minutes later a rampant home side made it 2-0 when a ball across the six yard box was turned in by Alex Tenola. Bowers were in complete control and could of added to their tally. On 40 minutes Manor gave themselves a lifeline with their first meaningful play of the half. Sisson got into the box on the right hand side and his ball across the face of goal was tapped in by Charlie Little for 2-1. Bowers missed two more good chances on 42 minutes as they threatened to extend their lead. The half time whistle was a relief to Manor who were second best in every department. The second half was a completely different story however. It started well for Bowers though with a long range effort testing Priddle but he saved well to his right to palm the ball away. Thereafter Manor took the game by the scruff of its neck. On 51 minutes Danso ran onto a loose ball and smacked it against the inside of the post and from the following cross Little headed over from six yards out. Manor made their first change on 54 minutes when Waiwaiku was replaced by new signing Dan Williams. He was involved within two minutes as his flick on sent Little clear on goal but he could only send his effort wide of the upright. Manor made a second change on 67 minutes when Jamie Williams came on for Little and immediately this paid dividends for the away side as they made it 2-2. Jamie Williams flicked on to Dan Williams and he slotted home from 12 yards for his debut goal for the club. Barely two minutes later on 69 minutes Jamie Williams struck home to make it 3-2 to Manor. The away side were now rampant but almost conceded on 72 minutes when Bowers had a sight of goal but the finish was straight at Priddle. On 74 minutes Jamie Williams was sent clear through on Doyle and he waited till the keeper committed before lifting the ball over him and into the goal for Manors fourth. It was an amazing passage of play from 2-1 down to 4-2 up in seven second half minutes. Manor made their final change on 76 minutes when Newell was replaced by Chia-Titor. Manor could of made it 5-2 on 86 minutes but Peck's free header went wide. So the first half belonged to the home side but the second half belonged to the away side. A thoroughly entertaining game of football was brought to an end and Manor had another three points and climb to the top of the league!!!!
