Manor took on league leaders Billericay Town this morning and it was the away side who ran out relatively comfortable winners by two goals to nil. With the strong wind behind Billericay in the first half they kept Manor pretty much inside their own half for a lot of the time and the only goal of the half was a well worked one with good passing and movement ending with a good finish from inside the six yard box following a pass across goal. The second half had Manor with the wind behind them and for the first 15 or so minutes of the half Manor spent more time in the opposition half and missed a sitter in that time. Billericay then grabbed their second goal halfway through the half making it 2-0 and although Manor created another great chance it was the away side who maintained their league leaders status and ran out 2-0 winners today.
