Gary Henty and Danny Smith are still awaiting their first points as joint Dockers managers following a 2-0 home defeat to Dereham Town. The game started badly for the home side when they gave The Magpies the lead on five minutes when a poor clearance from keeper Milard went straight too Dereham skipper Luke Tuttle whose ball across the area was slid home inadvertently by Dockers centre back Courtney Mclean. De'Juane Taylor-Crossdale missed a golden chance for Tilbury on 14 minutes but to be fair the game was devoid of any quality and both teams were finding it difficult to get any sort of game going. The second period was much of the same with both teams failing to really test the keepers. On 72 minutes Dockers substitute Jake Pooley was knocked unconscious following a clash of heads and had almost a dozen minutes of treatment before thankfully walking off on his own esteem, although with a nasty gash across his forehead, meaning he was subbed. Dereham finished the game strongly with a series of attacks down the left through Ryan Hawkins and after missing a couple of opportunities they finally grabbed that all important second when Ryan Hawkins laid the ball across to skipper Luke Tuttle to side foot past Milard and make sure Dereham went back to Norfolk with all three points.
