Concord Rangers 2 Wealdstone 0

FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round Replay, Tuesday 30th September 2014

Concord won through to play Winchester City at home in the next round by defeating ten man Wealdstone 2-0 at The Aspect Arena.  Wealdstone started well but found themselves a goal and a man down after 14 minutes when a shot by Cawley was punched off the line by midfielder O'Nien resulting in a penalty to Concord and a red card for the Stones man.  Danny Glozier stepped up and scored the penalty.  Ten minutes before the break Concord's Ogilvie went on a great run down the right and then drove into the penalty box before being upended illegally and the referee pointed to the spot once more.  Up stepped Danny Glozier to dispatch his second penalty of the game and a 2-0 lead for Concord was achieved.Concord had further shots on goal that didn't trouble the keeper and then a minute into the second half Concord keeper Butler was stretchered off following a clash of knees with forward Showumni.  Concord should of killed the tie off after this but hit the post and had one hacked clear before a brilliant double save from sub keeper (who is actually a defender) Lampe kept Stones out.  Concord saw out the game in relative comfort and it is them who progress to the 3rd Qualifying Round.
