Manor welcomes Ryman Premier side Witham to the Southchurch Arena hoping to improve on last weeks performance against Berkhamsted and they put in a good shift again tough opposition. However to lapses at the back were Manor's downfall as Witham grabbed a 2-0 half time lead through a glancing header by Josh Mayhew and a fortuitous second from Pina, when Manor keeper Priddle's attempted clearance hit him and went in. Manor should have levelled before that when Dan McCarthy headed wide when well positioned but Manor's last third was lacking conviction but their general play was good. So a good work out for both teams as the season is now just a week away.
