So my final pre-season game took me to Hannakins Farm Community Centre on the West Side of Billericay for a friendly between Olympian Premier Side Hannakins Farm and ESL side Stansted. Farm fielded a young reserve side being this there second game in as many days while Stansted were completing there pre-season programme as they begin their league campaign on Saturday, so they fielded a strong eleven. It kind of showed in the first half as Stansted blasted into a 4-0 half time lead courtesy of goals from Callum Turner, David Ratcliffe, George Clarke, Gary Rowntree. Both teams made changes in the second half as both managers looked to try things out and Stansted added a fifth from Ryan Barker-Francis as the away side continued to dominate. Farm finished stronger though but saw numerous chances go a begging including a penalty miss four minutes from the end. Anyhow a good workout for both sides.
