This was my second game of the day so after shooting away from 'The Dog' I arrived at Ilford after 30 minutes of the first half where it was still 0-0 so I hadn't missed any goals!! The last 15 minutes of the first half wasn't to inspiring but it did contain a goal for the home side with a close range header to put Ilford 1-0 up at the break. The second half was mostly Ilford with the ball attacking Bari's penalty box and from one of these ventures they grabbed a second on the hour from another close range finish. Bari did have a couple of efforts towards the end but Ilford managed to keep them out. Ilford also hit the bar themselves as they continued to get the better of their opponents. Bari to their credit never gave up and battled for every ball but it wasn't enough for them. So Ilford did enough to win but that was all really in another uninspiring game in all honesty. So it finished 2-0 to the home side.
