Ilford took the spoilts in the A169 derby as they ran out 2-1 winners and win their first game since the opening day of the season!!! Ilford took an early lead and continued to pressure the fragile Redbridge defence although Redbridge were also dangerous themselves going forward and created chances too. The second half continued in much the same way until Redbridge finally equalised with about 25 mins to go and at that point you sensed they would go on to win the game. However it was Ilford who scored the decisive goal with about ten minutes to go and they managed to hold on for a vital win.
