On a cold a blustery afternoon Wakering's reserves ran out comfortable winners by 3 goals to 0. With both teams first XI's not in action due to the weather both reserve teams fielded a mixture of youth and experience and it was the hosts who created the most notable chances. Wakering took the lead after 11 minutes and then scored again on 34 minutes and although Stansted hit the post at the end of the half the hosts went in 2-0 ahead at the break. The second half was played at a slow tempo and the only goal was a good one and the moment of the match with a good finish into the top corner. Stansted huffed and puffed but never really threatened the Wakering goal and the hosts ran out 3-0 winners.
