Forest's eight match unbeaten run in the league came to an end today at they went down to FC Romania in an enthralling match at Wadham Lodge. The visitors had the better of the first half hour but it was the home side who led at the break thanks to Kamissoko's curling effort from the edge of the box on 33 minutes. FCR levelled six minutes into the second period when a ball forward by Vasile was missed by the defender allowing Pitaru in behind to slot past Hunt for 1-1. FCR took the lead on 66 minutes when a fantastic ball into the box by captain Bugiu saw Brown poke the cross past Hunt. FCR looked as if they would go on and win the game with more comfort but Forest were a danger up front all game, especially through Ofori and it was him that levelled the game up once again on 80 minutes when he was played in and he duly rounded Banica and slotted into the net to set up a great final ten minutes. With two minutes of the ninety left FCR scored what proved to be the winner when Romaru got the ball on the edge of the box and curled a neat effort past Hunt and in off the post. A thoroughly enjoyable game it was and the visitors probably deserved their win.
